I hate it when that happens!
I know I read all of L’Engle’s books when I was younger but I can’t remember them at all. I need to go back and reread them and see if I still like her other books as much as I did.

I recently reread A Wrinkle in Time for a personal reading challenge, and had the opposite reaction. Madeleine L’Engle may be one of my favourite fiction writers, but every time I reread this particular novel of hers, I like it less and less.

On the other hand, the last of the “Time” novels, An Acceptable Time only gets better and better for me. I’m surprised to discover, through my blogging friends, that it’s not as beloved of other readers as it is of me!

Oooh, I actually considered writing about Margaret Atwood for Weekly Geeks! All of her books are amazing, and I really admire the fact that she seems to always be trying on new genres and techniques.
